Appearance:
Dark brown eyes, long dark curled hair.
Often choosing to dress in woodland colours of brown and green, usually seen cloaked and lightly armoured, wearing various belts for the carrying of items. Most notably the large Hand-and-a -half or "Bastard" sword, known as "Hammer" that he wears about his hip, which is engraved with swirling knotworks.

On his right forearm there appears to be some kind of organic growth, resembling a gauntlet of thick smooth bark, and is lined with flowing vines. It appears not to be growing from his arm itself, but as if it is a separate entity entirely, fused to his arm. it's exact shape seems to change slightly on a daily basis, the vines growing and changing.

[Edit - the "Green Gauntlet was removed from him upon his gruesome but short death - where the gauntlet was, now the skin is scarred and bandaged.]

Notes:
Staunchly patriotic, he has a strong sense of honour and right, always trying to find a way to achieve goals in a noble and fair manner, even when that may cause difficulty.
He is acutely aware of everything he does in context of the history of the world, and seems to see life as verses of some great song of legend.
He is impatient with complex affairs of intrigue and prefers things to be conducted in complete privacy, if not entirely out in the open.

Johann was for most of his pre-Seekers life, at the Amran Guard, protecting the city from bandits, raiders and other unsavoury types. There he was trained in the ways of combat and the sword, and is still passionate about swordplay.
Dissatisfied with his two-a-penny life, Johann grew restless at his apparent inability to gain renown. With the help of his Ex-Seeker uncle, Johann escaped an honourable but unwanted lifetime on Amran's walls, something his well-meaning but supremely traditional father was keen to enforce.
Fleeing the city and finding his way into the Seekers, travelling far across Xenos, Johann fed his desire for adventure and a profound need to achieve something of lasting importance or memory. Around a year into his Seeking career, Johann found himself in his homeland once again, working to the downfall of a rebellious Jarl and his plot to sunder Amrania into pieces and declare himself king.
Knighted by the previously incognito Princess Teya, Johann has achieved some notability and won back the respect of his father and high honour to his family. In future, he seeks to use his newly elevated position as a force for good and to bring about happenings worthy of remembrance.
It is rumoured that he may be taking training from high up in the Amranian hierarchy, being schooled in the ways of a mysterious and ancient discipline of war...
