"Game - what game. Do you mean my introduction? If so, I apologise if you found that annoying or tedious, it is simply the way I was taught to introduce myself by my parents when I was a young child."
Not at all, but a bit of friendly competition never hurt anyone...

Johann says farewell and gets up and leaves, presumably for The Rescue...

Sasien sees Johann leaving, and bids the others at the table "Farewell, I'll see you at the next Seeker's assignment." before running to return to The Rescue.

Edward looks up quickly to see the others leaving before returning to his studies. He looks up again to see who's left, and realises there aren't many people still breakfasting.

Seeing Johann leaving the Guildhouse, Cecil gathers up his belongings and scrambles up from the table.
"Hauldr Draugr... Johann! Wait! I still haven't got that interview and I need it for the next issue! Wait up!"

Edward laughs out-loud, before turning it into a badly-acted 'cough', his face bright red. He looks down at his books with a broad, unconcealed smile on his face.

"He's quite popular with the women too, I have a lot of 'competition'" Lydia just emerges from the door, slight bags under her eyes, looking slightly pale, so she's defiantly hung over.

Edward laughs and bows his head
I can't imagine he could choose anyone over you, my Lady!
Edward looks at Johann and smiles
look at how you make the Lady worry! Up all night drinking her worries away!
Edward laughs again at the duo, but not in a cruel manner

"Is that your way of saying 'I love you' without seeming like a love-sick puppy?" She giggles then, smiling. "Because if it is, the feeling is mutual"

*Initiate sitcom group laughter freeze-frame*
Johann laughs.
"Well, I suppose that's one way of putting it."
He moves over to Lydia and puts an arm around her, and smiles at Father Edward.

She nuzzles into his side lightly, being quite a bit shorter than he is.
She just smiles up to him, and then to the Father.
"I obviously have nothing to worry about, it's nice to be picked first for a change"

Hans runs in past the two, seemingly chasing something
"FOOD! Seamus said food! I need bacon to get me over this sodding hangover!"
Spotting plates and food, he piles bacon and sausages onto the plate and digs in, ignoring the other three occupants

Lydia turns her head, not moving from Johann's arm, to watch him rush towards the food.

[OOC - I'm assuming from the lack of activity some time has passed]
Seamus strolls in, looking somewhat more healthy than before, his eyes scanning the main hall as if looking for someone. He sits at a table where he remains in silence, deep in thought.

"I'll be taking a break from training you for a while, so make sure that you keep reading for when I get back, I expect you to tell the difference between a healing salve and sleeping draught next time..."
Walking through the guild halls, a young elf followed Divah's pace, both of them in the same, sparkling green that bellowed out behind them. Divah was free of the usual clutter in his hands, instead wearing a series of pouches that had his equipment neatly held for once, the distinct clack of glass bottles and clunk of tins filled the hall as he walked. The young boy left with scrolls tied neatly in gold ribbon, seeking out a higher platform to enjoy the weather in.

"Ah, there you are, Divah. I need to talk to you a moment about the library. Don't worry, it won't take long, you can go back to your... whatever it is you do as soon as we've finished."
Seamus gestures for the strange elf to take a seat beside him, a friendly (although somewhat forced) smile on his lips.

Re: Seekers Guildhouse
Divah looked to his 'superior' as he called. sweeping off to sit, to do as he was told, the same 'superior' that he last remembered stumbling around blind drunk, and before that - asking at swordpoint like an inquisitor after he'd told the man all he knew, already under danger of death as it was. Still he offered no protection.
The only thing he could tell was that this person was dangerous, he didn't know what his motives were, but they weren't productive for the so-called 'Guild' of mercenaries that he had so formed.
Disenfranchised from within the Mercenaries Guild, but with a new power given by the Seekers' Guild, he figured he would at least be safe to discuss things from inside these grounds. Yet still, he was being ordered; told that he was to be permitted to return to his work, spoken down to with a smile gracing his lips as if it were normal... indeed it seemed that it was.
Divah was twisted into a melancholy by his torrent of thought, and he sat down more silently than he intended; eyes dipped and almost looking into his usual face covering, he made no gesture of greeting, nor anger or even acknowledgement. Looking things over in his mind, he was sure that something had to have been done wrong to feel so insecure around his own 'allies'.
He awaited the next inquisition, the next order, the next flash of silvery glare from the waist before he would make any reaction.

Re: Seekers Guildhouse
Seamus moves aside slightly to allow more room for Divah to take a seat. Once he appears comfortable (although it's hard to tell with the face covering) Seamus continues speaking.
"Now, I know we've had our differences in the past, and we may not entirely like or trust each other, but as a man, well, elf of knowledge, I trust you understand the importance of bringing information that has been forgotten back into the light. Well, the fact of the matter is," Seamus lowers his voice, "I have uncovered an old map, possibly from the early Age of Rebuilding or perhaps even earler, and the details of the map are confusing and strange. In order for this map to be any use to anyone, I need to work out what it's trying to show, which means I need other records from around that time. I believe them to be in the restricted section of the Dun Pennot library, so today I have come to ask you, as a Sargeant of the Library, to grant me access to the restricted section, if only for an hour or less. Whatever you want in return, be it gold, warrants or treasure, I will gladly pay."
He looks at Divah, anticipating his reply.

Re: Seekers Guildhouse
Divah's head had naturally tilted to the side in curiosity as the strange request came from Seamus' mouth.
"Why so secretive? Surely you'd get more use out of assistants than purely access to a restricted library... Personal questing under the Seekers' nose isn't really endorsed all that well, either you know."
From threatening against keeping secrets, to keeping secrets from the surrounding seekers had Divah just a little bit amused, but mostly cautious; it seemed awfully odd how he was acting, and the only logical explanations were either a grand hypocrisy or a test orchestrated by those higher up than himself.
"If you want information taken back into the light, I'm sure I can find someone to decipher... whatever that is... but I don't have permission to just bring along all my friends, or people who offer me bribes for that matter."

Re: Seekers Guildhouse
"The reason for my secrecy is for my own personal gain, I'll admit. If I can find out the purpose of the map before anyone else, I can greater evaluate its worth before selling it. However, if it shows what I suspect it may, you might not have to see me ever again, and I know how much you'd like that. As to why I need access myself and not just another opinion, that is because I doubt there is a person in living memory who knows aught of this map. Look, if you are refusing to help due to not wanting your reputation damaged, that is fine, I'll just have to find another way in. But I have a feeling this is not the case, and that you are still angry after what happened between us in Prospero. I am fully prepared to try and work out our differences, if only to be able to work together better in future."

Captain Seamus O'Malley wrote:"I am fully prepared to try and work out our differences, if only to be able to work together better in future."
"Yes... If I succumb to your demands and jeopardise my position. Personal gain is an unworthy cause to work for, let's not trouble the world. I doubt that the bourgeoisie's highest bidder would be worthy of information regarding the worlds' secrets, and I further doubt that he would share it as much as the next man. I work to reveal the hidden, I do not work to rid myself of others, nor so I work for personal gains or corrupt values"
Divah stood and turned
"Oh, by the way, Don't fit in passive insults when trying to convince someone, or try and appeal to my religious side, I am fully aware of how my Goddess wills me to behave."
